NUTRITION
Good nutrition is a critical component in helping people with compromised immune systems stay as healthy as possible. The AIDS Support Group offers the following FREE balanced nutritional programs to help supplement our clients' regular diets.
In Provincetown:
Monday Friday Congregate Lunch
11 am - 1 pm
If a client is homebound, s/he may request home delivery by a volunteer by speaking with his or her case manager.
Tuesday evening Local Flavor
6:30 pm
Area organizations, service clubs and individuals prepare sumptuous meals to help foster interaction and reduce isolation.
In Hyannis:
3rd Wednesday Congregate Lunch
of the month
12:30 pm
2nd Thursday Food Basket Program
Food baskets are prepared with groceries that will provide more than 40 nutritional meals and and may be picked up between 1 - 4 PM. Home delivery is contingent on volunteer availability. Reserve a food basket by calling your case manager by the first Friday of the month.
Emergency Food Pantries
The Provincetown and Hyannis offices have an emergency food pantry which may be accessed by clients twice a month during regular business hours.
