Our prevention & screening staff provide a number of services to help people know their status and to prevent the transmission of HIV, sexually transmitted infections and Hepatitis C. Each year they come into contact with over 100,000 people.
Rapid HIV testing We provide free and anonymous testing for HIV in our Provincetown office located at 336 Commercial Street (508.487.9445) and our Hyannis office located at 428 South Street (508.778.1954). STI & Hepatitis C screening Concerned that you may have a sexually transmitted infection or have been exposed to Hepatitis C? We offer free screenings and appropriate referrals to medical providers who care.
Hepatitis A & B Vaccines Visit us for a referral for free Hepatitis A & B vaccines.
Not everyone comes
with a warning label.
Needle Exchange & Drug Overdose Prevention If you inject drugs, we can help you stay safe from acquiring or transmitting HIV and/or Hepatitis C. We also can train you, your friends and your family in the use of Narcan, an opioid (e.g., heroin, oxycodone, morphine, fentanyl, etc.) inhibitor that can save your life or the life of someone you care about.
Partner Notification Need help telling someone that they may have been exposed to HIV? Our staff will give you a variety of options for making this task manageable.
Kiosk Used needles can safely be disposed of in our kiosk located in our Hyannis office. A kiosk is coming soon to Provincetown.
